imageEmilie Cortes sells adventure travel but aims to empower and inspire women.  She left a 17 year career in finance and investments to acquire Call of the Wild and move to Bend in 2012.  Call of the Wild is the longest running women’s only adventure travel outfitter in the world.  Emilie is responsible for all operational and marketing aspects of the company and you will find her guiding the more difficult and remote trips.  She is fulfilling her own dream of making an impact on women by providing positive experiences in the outdoors that are not only fun, but also confidence inspiring.
Call of the Wild Adventures, Inc. is a Bend, OR based adventure travel outfitter for women only.  We provide active vacations centering around hiking, trekking, and backpacking with other activities included like yoga, kayaking, fly fishing, and eating good food (yes, eating good food IS a sport!).  We offer scheduled departures ranging from easy snowshoeing out of a lodge in Yosemite to mule packing down in the Grand Canyon to hiking to the top of Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa.  If we don’t have your bucket list trip on the calendar, just contact us and we’ll work on making your dreams come true!
