Ryan Roberts is the Marketing Director for Sierra James Construction, a company that feels like family—because it is. Her husband, Charley Roberts, is one of the co-owners, along with Jesse Rowden, whose wife, Melissa, serves as Controller.

The company also specializes in Disaster Restoration, providing 24-hour emergency response, mitigation, and repairs for fire, water, and mold damage.

Ryan’s path to construction was anything but traditional—she spent 12 years as a veterinarian before taking a leap of faith into an entirely new industry. While she once felt confident diagnosing and treating diseases such as feline hyperthyroidism, she had to learn construction, disaster restoration, and marketing (*gasp* social media!) from the ground up. But if there’s one thing she’s learned, it’s that women are incredibly capable of reinventing themselves. We are smart, resilient, and never confined to just one path. Ryan is passionate about encouraging women to trust their instincts, embrace change, and know that it’s never too late to thrive in a new career.
