Please register and join us for the evening.\nConnectW is a women’s networking group that welcomes women in all fields and endeavors—from entrepreneurs and professionals to women simply wishing to explore\, expand and enhance their lives and environments. \nJoin us for networking\, socializing\, and a light dinner. \n \nPlant Medicines: New Technologies\, Ancient Traditions and Practices for Healing and Well-being with Michelle Erickson\, PhD\nThis presentation will focus on two “in the news” master plants: psilocybin mushrooms and cacao. We will discuss the expanding intersection between traditional\, research and current practices and uses of these plant medicines. \nParticipants will: \n1) Understand how to be in safe and right relationship with medicinal plants.\n2) Walk away with a deeper understanding of current research.\n3) Understand ethical considerations between indigenous and western healing practices. \nAbout our Speaker: \nMichelle is a bilingual (Spanish) medicine woman\, teacher\, researcher and coach. A 25-year educator\, Michelle’s work draws from a variety of wisdom and shamanic practices\, as well as the fields of education\, psychology\, neuro-biology\, trauma-informed practices\, quantum physics and cultural anthropology.
