Additionally\, participants will learn how to craft an appropriate advocacy message and engage others in the pursuit of change. \nObjectives for the Evening\n1. What is advocacy and why is it important to you?\n2. Crafting your message – What is your elevator pitch?\n3. The ask: Who\, What\, When\, and How to make an ask \nSara is a Co-Founder and Owner at The Collective NWX\, a collaborative workspace in NorthWest Crossing. She is a community-minded problem solver\, collaborator\, negotiator\, strategic thinker\, and facilitator. She has over twenty years of marketing\, public affairs\, and strategic communications experience in Denver\, Colorado\, and is now thrilled to now call Bend\, Oregon home. She is also Principal of Clearwater Strategy\, a government affairs consulting firm focusing on local\, regional\, and state issues in Oregon.
